1. About FilmScribe

FilmScribe is a digital platform that uses artificial intelligence technology to assist in the organization, analysis, and narrative structuring of audio-based content such as speeches, interviews, and recordings.

The tool does not replace the creative work of editors or filmmakers, functioning as support for the organization process and narrative decision-making.

2. Platform Usage

By using FilmScribe, you agree to:

• Use the platform ethically and legally
• Not upload content that violates copyright, image rights, or third-party rights
• Not use the tool for illegal, abusive, or discriminatory purposes
• Be responsible for the content you submit for analysis

FilmScribe is not responsible for the final use of material generated or organized through the platform.

3. Submitted Content

All audio, text, or material submitted to FilmScribe:

• Remains the exclusive property of the user
• Is used only for processing, analysis, and delivery of platform features
• Is not disclosed, sold, or shared with third parties

FilmScribe does not claim any copyright over submitted content.

4. Platform-Generated Results

Results delivered by FilmScribe (transcriptions, highlights, emotions, narrative suggestions):

• Are automatically generated by artificial intelligence
• Should be interpreted as creative support, not final decisions
• May contain variations, interpretations, or natural inaccuracies of the technology

The responsibility for final editing and content usage always lies with the user.

5. Plans, Payments, and Cancellation

• Access to FilmScribe may occur through paid plans or a free trial period
• The prices, limits, and features of each plan are described on the pricing page
• The trial period allows you to try the platform without commitment. At the end of the trial, access to features will be limited until a plan is purchased
• The user can cancel their subscription at any time
• Cancellation stops future charges, maintaining access until the end of the contracted period

FilmScribe may change prices and plans with prior notice.

6. Refunds

Refund requests can be made by contacting our support team. Each case will be analyzed individually. If the user cancels their subscription, access remains active until the end of the already paid period, with no additional charges.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

FilmScribe reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Use
• Use the platform for illegal or abusive purposes
• Compromise the security or stability of the service
• Make excessive or automated use beyond the limits of the contracted plan

The user will be notified in case of suspension or termination, except in urgent situations.

8. Limitation of Liability

FilmScribe is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We do not guarantee that AI-generated results are free from errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on platform results
• We are not responsible for data loss caused by factors beyond our control
• Our total liability to the user is limited to the amount paid for the plan in the last 12 months

9. Intellectual Property

The FilmScribe brand, its interface, design, algorithms, source code, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of FilmScribe. Copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works from the platform without prior written authorization is prohibited.

10. Third-Party Integrations

FilmScribe offers optional integrations with third-party services (such as Google Drive and YouTube) to facilitate content import. The use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of the respective services. FilmScribe is not responsible for the availability or operation of these external services.

11. Service Availability

FilmScribe strives to keep the platform continuously available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The following may occur:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Updates
• Technical instabilities

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The jurisdiction of the user's domicile is elected to resolve any disputes, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Code.

13. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically. Whenever there are relevant changes, the update date will be revised and users will be notified.
