1. Data Collected

FilmScribe may collect:

• Registration data (name, email)
• Payment information (processed securely by specialized payment platforms — we do not store card data)
• Audio and video submitted for processing, including imports via YouTube and Google Drive
• Data generated by processing (transcriptions, segments, emotion analysis, scripts)
• Platform usage information (access, features used, preferences)

2. Data Usage

Your data is used to:

• Enable platform operation
• Process and analyze submitted content
• Improve FilmScribe's experience and features
• Communication about updates, notices, and important information

3. Audio and Content

• Uploaded audio is used exclusively for internal processing
• Not used for public model training
• Not shared with other users
• Can be removed upon user request or account closure

4. Google Drive Integration

FilmScribe offers optional integration with Google Drive for importing audio and video files.

• We use Google's drive.readonly scope to access only the file you explicitly select through the Google Picker
• No other files in your Google Drive are accessed, listed, or stored
• The selected file is downloaded to our servers exclusively for audio extraction and transcription processing
• We do not store your Google Drive credentials — we use temporary access tokens
• You can revoke FilmScribe's access to your Google Drive at any time through your Google account settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions)
• Data obtained from Google Drive is not sold, transferred, or shared with third parties
• Google Drive data is not used for advertising, model training, or any purpose other than the transcription and analysis processing requested by the user

5. YouTube Integration

FilmScribe allows importing YouTube videos via link for audio extraction and transcription processing.

• Only the audio from the video provided by the user is extracted and processed
• No data from the user's YouTube account is accessed
• The extracted content is used exclusively for the platform's transcription and analysis features

6. Data Sharing and Transfer

FilmScribe does not sell or share personal data with third parties, except when necessary for:

• Payment processing
• Technology infrastructure (servers, cloud storage via Cloudflare)
• Artificial intelligence services for transcription and content analysis
• Transactional email delivery
• Compliance with legal obligations

Your data may be processed on servers located outside Brazil, including Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers follow international data protection standards and have appropriate contractual clauses in accordance with LGPD.

7. Information Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), user-isolated storage, and restricted access control to data.

8. User Rights (LGPD)

You may, at any time:

• Request access to your data
• Correct information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Revoke consents

9. Cookies

FilmScribe may use cookies to improve navigation and user experience. You can manage cookies directly in your browser.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can request complete deletion of your data and account at any time by contacting us. Upon account closure, all associated data, including imported files and transcriptions, will be permanently removed.

11. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated. The most recent version will always be available on the platform. If there are significant changes to Google data usage, we will notify users by email.
